  I will go the extras mile for you whether assisting you to find the right property or selling your existing home/investment property. I have over twenty years experience as a top listing and selling broker (residential and commercial) in the Eugene/Springfield area.

  Since 1991 I have closed over $75,000,000 in real estate sales in the state of Oregon. I hold a principal broker’s license and am certified as a Senior  Real Estate Specialist, New Home Specialist, Luxury Home Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Earth Advantage Green Home Specialist and have extensive experience with investment property including commercial and apartment buildings.
  Prior to my career in real estate I attained a master’s degree in education from Eastern Illinois University; served four years in the Peace Corps in Malaysia and taught for ten years as a secondary school teacher Illinois. I owned my own bike touring company for two years as well as owning and managing a lodge and hostel on the big island of Hawaii for seven.
  Coaching has been a passion for me which serves me well in real estate. I’ve coached age group swim clubs in Illinois, Hawaii, Malaysia and Australia and was the Malaysian national swim coach for two years. I also coached my two daughters to national titles in the Iron Kid Nationals in 1988 and 1989.
  I am the proud husband and parent of three children and a wife who is a wellness nurse coordinator. My children are 34, 32 and 23. Our oldest daughter is a civil engineer with EWEB in Eugene. Her sister is an entrepreneur/business owner (Wee Can Too Organic Finger Paints) and design and marketing director for the Eugene Housing Guide. She is the mother of our precious grandchildren 3 years and 9 months. Our son is a computer engineer in Billings, Montana.
  In my spare time I run marathons and have competed in two Iron Man World Triathlons in Kona,  Hawaii finishing in the top 50 competitors. In 1998 I won one gold and two silver medals in the World Masters Track and Field Championships. In 2000 I won two National Titles in the Masters Track and Field.
  As I begin my 21^st year in real estate I continue to strive to work with integrity as a caring and understanding broker who believes in a win-win philosophy. A large percentage of my business comes from personal referrals, which means satisfied clients. I thoroughly enjoy  my work and bring a professional approach to real estate.
